Homemade Tiny Teddys


  • 1/4 cup butter (softened)
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 cup plain flour
  • 1/2 cup self-raising flour
  • 1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

    Preheat oven to 180°C (160°C fan-forced). Line a baking tray with paper and set aside. Place all ingredients into a food processor or mixer and mix until you have a smooth ball of dough. Cover with cling wrap and allow to rest at room temperature for 10 minutes.

    Roll the dough out into a rectangle until it is 4mm thick.

    Cut out teddy shapes using a cookie cutter and place onto the baking tray.

    Bake for 5-6 minutes or until pale golden. Allow to cool on the tray for 5 minutes and then transfer to a wire rack to cool further.
